During my recent stay at Hotel Baja, I felt a sense of comfort in the heart of Tijuana's bustling Centro district. The clean and nicely decorated room offered a deep mattress that cradled me each night-a much-needed reprieve after long days exploring. The hotel's proximity to Avenida Revolución provided the ideal blend of convenience and tranquility, allowing for peaceful nights amidst the city's vibrancy. Although the shower took a minute to warm up, the patience paid off with a satisfying steam. Tea in hand, I embraced the serenity of my room, enjoying the flat-screen TV's decent channel lineup while plotting my next adventure. For just $34 a night, I reveled in great value, and found the staff readily available to share local insights-especially handy when I ventured off to shop at the hidden markets along 2nd Avenue. Each element contributed to a reassuring sense of hospitality, making it a truly delightful stop on my journey. If chaos becomes overwhelming, this gem promises the serene escape one seeks in a city full of life.
